The executive committee of the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games presents an embroidery piece of Liu Linghua's oil painting Drunken Beauty to the director-general of the Game's opening ceremony Don Mischer.
The embroidery piece of Liu Linghua's oil painting Drunken Beauty is presented as a gift to singer Placido Domingo at a Shanghai concert last year.
A foreign philanthropist (second from left) bought the embroidery work for 50,000 yuan, which was donated to Wenchuan quake victims. He later donated the work itself to the Shanghai Charity Foundation. The foundation's Director-General Chen Tiedi (right) received the painting.
The embroidery of the work was presented as a gift to singer Celine Dion when she held a concert in Shanghai in 2008.
